District Wide, School or Individual Shop Safety Audit to assess compliance and develop
a written management plan
A ReiTech Professional Safety Consultant performs a comprehensive safety inventory of each piece
of powered equipment located in the classrooms and maintenance rooms of each school in the district.
A detailed report is compiled for each classroom which includes:
- Color photos of each machine
- Each piece of powered machinery identified, listing its make, model and serial number
- A clear description of hazards posed by each machine is identified
- Hazard corrections are researched with the recommended corrections to abate each hazard detailed
- Appropriate regulatory justification for each hazard identified
- Regulatory justifications for hazard abatement are referenced by utilizing:
- Federal OSHA (Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
- MNOSHA (Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
- NFPA (National Fire Protection Association)
- NEC (National Electric Code)
- ANSI (American National Standards Institute)
- After submitting the report, a ReiTech safety professional will meet with you to discuss the
contents in detail and develop the required hazard abatement process according to your budget and
time lines.
- The Consultation Division of ReiTech works closely with the guarding, manufacturing and installation
divisions to provide you with a detailed management plan of the necessary repairs needed for each machine.
- A quotation is developed to implement the agreed upon process.
Sample Report

- The observed safety hazards and subsequent recommendations for each machine encountered.
- A regulatory reference section which gives a detailed list of all references used to justify the recommendations made.
- An illustration section which shows before and after pictures of typical machines.
The sample represents a small segment of the comprehensive audit which provides a fully documented compliance assessment report from which to develop the required management plan.
